What is Cryotherapy and what does it treat?
CryoPen™ is an advanced cryotherapy innovation that is a fast, effective, safe and new solution for removal of skin imperfections. Quick and relatively painless, a CryoPen™ treatment typically takes just a few minutes, so you can be in and out of the salon in no time or add a CryoPen™ treatment on to any other Glow service.
The CryoPen™ emits a fine jet of nitrous oxide under high pressure, which allows your Aesthetician to work with millimetre precision. The freezing cold jet destroys tissue by freezing the inter-cellular fluid, forming ice shards and crystals which rupture the membrane, thereby destroying the cell.
CryoPen™ is incredibly accurate and quick and almost painless, making cosmetic procedures such as skin tag, milia and cherry angiomas removal a simple procedure that no longer requires treatment by a physician.

What should I expect?
The treatment is quick and simple, the CryoPen™ applicator head is held as close as possible to the treatment area, and moved in a circular motion rapidly with movements towards and away from from the treatment area., for between 1 -30 seconds, depending on the size and depth of the imperfection. The area is then allowed to thaw, for about 30 seconds before the 2nd treatment cycle commences.
